Castaway Cove

We enjoyed our stayed despite finding mold growth to the upper level in various places- walls, around lights, and largely in and around the air vents. I am assuming from the humidity, which was very obvious when walking up the stairs, however, I have never seen visible mold on walls before. We arrived with old trash bag ties still tied to the kitchen counter chairs, and dirt/ sand to the floors. Our child also found old unknown pills on the floor in a room which was extremely scary as we had numerous children crawling with us. We spent our first day cleaning the home. This was a disappointment as we could not go into the home until 4 pm due to “cleaning”. The master bathroom outlets did not work, they did send an electrician out the next day and had them fixed. We did still enjoy our time and are currently in contact to hopefully resolve these issues, they have been responsive.

This home was beautiful and the air conditioning was flawless! We had a great stay and a wonderful time making memories.

The home is very comfortable and well-maintained. It is an easy walk to the beach. Loved our stay here.
