We Helped Name This Island
Lewis Realty has been on Topsail since 1962, back when there was one bridge in, one other realtor on the strand, and a whole lot of empty sand. Three generations later, we're still here.
It Started With One Woman, One Office, and a Quiet Stretch of Coast
In 1962, Evelyn Mayrand opened Mayrand Real Estate in Topsail Beach. She built the company on a simple rule: treat every client the way you'd want to be treated. Her son Phil took over in the late seventies after returning from Vietnam, bringing a contractor's eye for detail. In 1987, Peggy Lewis joined as a partner. She'd already spent years helping incorporate Surf City and quite literally helping name this island Topsail. By 1992, the firm became Lewis Realty Associates. Three names. One philosophy. Six decades and counting.
